Alison Booth has been associated with Nashville’s music industry for 39 years and with Sony Music Nashville for over 26 of those years, At Sony, she is currently responsible for the development and supervision of policies and procedures regarding company assets (recorded masters and associated metadata), verification requirements, contractual delivery and the long-term storage and preservation of recorded masters and metadata. She is dedicated to finding best practices for departmental procedures and workflow to accommodate continually developing and changing digital operations. Additionally, she supervises the creation of Liner Data for product packaging copy, directs the flow of administrative information between the A&R and A&R Administration departments and approves recording budgets, costs, reporting and analysis for the three labels that make up Sony Nashville: Arista Nashville, Columbia Nashville and RCA Records Label Nashville. Booth was also an adjunct professor at Belmont University’s College of Entertainment and Music Business for 10 years.
