Ben Vaughn

Warner/Chappell Music
President
Ben Vaughn was appointed Exec. VP for Warner/Chappell Nashville in 2012. Previously, Vaughn had already become the youngest executive to head a major publisher in Nashville (Exec. VP & GM, EMI), but now claimed the rare distinction of having overseen two major Nashville publishers. At Warner/Chappell, Vaughn’s duties are varied, including managing the Nashville operation; overseeing the A&R team; working with songwriters to secure song placements, writing sessions, and recording agreements; and engaging in songwriter advocacy efforts to protect their rights. Throughout Vaughn’s career, he’s worked with songwriters who have collectively won ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC Songwriter of the Year 10 times and Song of the Year (across the CMAs, ACMs and Grammys) 18 times. Under Vaughn, Warner/Chappell recently received the award for ASCAP Country Publisher of the Year three years in a row. At Warner/Chappell, Vaughn works with a wide variety of talented songwriters including Chris Stapleton, Little Big Town, Liz Rose, Brantley Gilbert, Lady Antebellum, Eric Paslay, among many others.
