Best Practices in Connecting Industry & Education

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this session, we’ll explore how academic institutions can best prepare students seeking to enter the hyper-dynamic rapidly-shifting modern music business, through real-world, hands-on connections with the music industry. In a laboratory environment, students can experiment with and examine real world business concepts and challenges, while also providing mutual benefits to industry partners.  This panel will survey best practices in how leading educational programs are adopting experiential education, as well as provide the perspective from industry leaders on how they can wrangle the creativity of students for the improvement of their businesses.
