Duplicates: Let's Stem the Tide
Duplicates, duplicates, duplicates. We all know they are a problem, and there are many ways to handle them. Duplicate data is rampant for releases, tracks, artists, and labels. In this working lunch, we'll discuss the scope of the problem, the types of duplicates we encounter, methods to identify them, and concrete ways to manage them. Tony Brooke will lead the conversation with his research and lessons learned from Pandora, Rdio, and Next Big Sound. Then, an open discussion to share ideas and solutions.
