John Coletta is the VP of International Legal and Business Affairs at BMI. He provides legal and strategic advice on a wide range of company initiatives with a focus on the rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscape outside of the United States. Coletta works in close collaboration with BMI’s International Department on the company’s relationships with collective rights management organizations around the world and serves on a number of international committees and working groups for various industry initiatives. He also provides legal support for BMI’s Distribution and Administration Services and Licensing Departments with a particular focus on BMI’s activities relating to online and digital services. Coletta joined BMI in 1991 and has held many positions since including Media Relations Intern, Director of Online Communications, Director of Business Affairs,  Sr. Director of Business Affairs and Asst. VP of Legal Affairs.
