Candace Berry is the Exec. VP and General Manager of Commercial Partnerships, the award-winning account management, sales and marketing division of Universal Music Group. She oversees all of the sales, marketing, and operations functions, and leads all of the sales efforts for key partners including Apple, Spotify, Amazon, Google, YouTube, Vevo, Target and WalMart, to name just a few. Berry works very closely with Universal Music’s family of labels, both owned and associated, to help grow and maintain marketshare and continue to be the No.1 music company in the world. Berry was appointed to her current role in June 2011, previously serving as Exec. VP of Sales and Marketing since February 2010. Previously, Berry served as Head of Sales for Interscope Geffen A&M, where she spearheaded sales and marketing efforts on behalf of such chart-topping artists as U2, Lady Gaga, The Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Mary J. Blige, Pussycat Dolls, Eminem, Sting and Sheryl Crow, among many others.
