Christina Calio is the Director of Partner Marketing at Microsoft Groove. Microsoft Groove includes the music player which ships with Windows 10, the Groove Music Pass for on-demand streaming, and a catalog of over 40 million songs for sale in 23 countries from the Windows Store. Since 2000, Calio has been responsible for business development and industry relations in music and entertainment for Xbox, Windows Phone, Zune, MSN, and the Windows Media Division. Prior to Microsoft, she spent the 90s at Geffen Records, where she was privileged to lead sales and marketing in the international department for a broad range of artists including Beck, Nirvana, Guns N’ Roses, and Aerosmith.
