Gene Mauro is the CEO of Rithm Messaging, Inc., a music sharing service for millennials. Under his leadership, Rithm has emerged as a social music innovator with licenses from Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group and The Orchard. Prior to Rithm, Mauro spent 15 years in media and entertainment in various leadership positions at companies big and small including NBCUniversal and Pearson Education, as well as several VC backed startups including Bunchball, gamerDNA (acquired by Live Gamer), Social Gold (acquired by Google) and Heyday, where he mixed social games on Facebook with music icons Elvis Presley and Dick Clark.
