Jay Millar is a music industry veteran and vinyl veteran as well. Currently working with Sundazed Music and the newly minted Modern Harmonic label, Millar got his start in the industry in 1995 with PolyGram’s Detroit office. He spent eight years in New York split between BMG, Sony-BMG, and Universal. In 2007, United Record Pressing moved him to Nashville to help modernize the company and handle many facets of the business including marketing, PR, and sales among other duties. In addition to his work with Sundazed Music and Modern Harmonic, Millar also runs a boutique hobby label Microfiche Records probably best known for their concentric groove game records.
