As a record producer, Steve Thomson has produced recordings for some of the music industry’s giants including Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, The Band and Ronnie Hawkins. He has produced music in all genres including Classical with artists including Vienna’s Johann Strauss Orchestra and The Symphony Orchestra of Canada. As a director, producer and writer, he has seen success with three award-winning productions “Let It Rock At The Crossroads of Rock ’N’ Roll,” “The Story of Lydia,” and recently a documentary and concert entitled “Being A Musician In Today’s World.” His experience and success as a live event producer has seen him produce many high profile events including the Canada Rocks Cannes, a concert event that was presented at MIDEM in Cannes, France. He was also the Canadian Producer and Promoter for Musikantenstadl, which saw Toronto play host to over 5,000 tourists.
